Maslak McLeod ships artwork worldwide and service both individual, private and corporate collectors and also visitors to Canada, providing appraisals, consignment sales, and advisory services. The gallery offers a superb selection of historically important works by Norval Morrisseau, dating from the early 1960s to the early 1980s. Maslak McLeod has assembled, catalogued, and curated major Norval Morrisseau collections for both public and private collectors.
Gallery director Joseph McLeod is an internationally recognized expert on native art, and Maslak McLeod gallery has consulted on native art for the Government of Canada, Thunder Bay Museum, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in New York, Sothebys Auction House, The Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, Volkunder Museum in Munich, Germany, and the Exposicao de Arte Indigena in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
